In Montenegro, in the city of Budva, the World Boxing Cup "Pearl of the Adriatic" among juniors aged 17-18 was held. Alexey Gukov became the winner in the weight category up to 67 kg.
Gukov had three fights, in which he surpassed the representative of Cuba, David Manuel, Mursalu Nurbekov from Kazakhstan and Vanik Dzenis from Serbia.
Alexey is the winner of the Russian championship among boys aged 15-16, the owner of the Cup of the country among boys aged 17-18, and the winner of the 7th Children of Asia International Sports Games 2022 which were held in Vladivostok. At the Games, the athlete took part on behalf of the united team of the Far Eastern Federal District. Now Aleksey is preparing for the European Championship to be held in Armenia.
The success of the athletes leaves no doubt that the Children of Asia is the beginning and springboard for new victories. We wish Alexey new achievements!
