At a press conference in Kemerovo dedicated to the upcoming Games, some of the main symbols of the event were presented.
Torch of the Games
Made in white and blue color and made of aluminum alloy, its weight is 1.8 kg. Smooth lines and curves symbolize the footprints left on the snow and ice by athletes involved in winter sports. The logo of the Games is applied to the case. In its colors - the colors of the mountainous Kuzbass taiga and the blue of the sky. Yellow symbolizes the sun that rises in the East. The logo itself is made in the form of a hieroglyph as a respect for the writing of the Asian peoples. It also displays the power of movement of the athletes.
Relay of Fire
The Lighting Ceremony will take place on January 21 at the Lena Pillars Natural Park in Khangalassky Ulus in Yakutia. January 22 in the city of Yakutsk will begin the relay of fire. Here the symbol of the Games will be handed over to Kuzbass as the organizer of the upcoming competitions. On January 24, the Fire, placed in a special flask, will arrive in Kuzbass and the procession of the symbol will begin in all four areas of the Games. The relay race will end on February 25 at the opening ceremony of the Games in the Kuzbass Ice Palace.
Torchbearers
The strongest athletes, representatives of the sports community and honorary residents of Kuzbass will act as torchbearers.
Equipment
The outfit of the flame keepers, participants of the torch relay, guests of honor and employees of the regional directorate of the Children of Asia games is made in blue, green and white. The package includes a padded jacket, trousers, a headpiece, a scarf, gloves, a polo shirt, and a sport dress suit. Branded clothing will be provided to volunteers, the Kuzbass team, and other categories of participants in the games.
