This was stated by the Committee's President Mr. Vladimir Maksimov during a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions of the Asian countries.
- We believe that children should have an opportunity to do sports, develop and compete with other children. Therefore, the Board of the Children of Asia International Committee made a unanimous decision to support the Palestine team, where young athletes, like many civilians in this country, are now in a difficult situation. We will make every effort, both diplomatic and financial, so that children representing their country’s united team could come to Yakutsk next year to participate in the 8th Children of Asia Games,” noted Mr. Vladimir Maksimov.
The Palestinian united team regularly takes part in the Children of Asia International Sports Games, as well as in educational programs of the Committee.
