"It is suggested that combat sports competitions to be hold in our republic, including freestyle wrestling, boxing, sumo, and basketball. We believe that sports facilities are capable of hosting such competitions. Additionally, we expect that by 2028, we will have newly constructed facilities that will allow us to host all participants of the Games in a worthy manner," commented Mr. Sayan Mongush, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tuva.
Head of Abakan, Mr. Alexey Levin, also expressed confidence that the republics are ready to host Children of Asia Games:
"This is a great opportunity for the development of sports infrastructure and its popularization. If the city is entitled to host competitions, it is evident that investments will be made in the development of sports facilities, which is essential for us. We hope that competitions will be held here since such events have not been held in our republics before," noted Mr. Alexey Levin.
Based on the results of the visit, an analytical report will be compiled, and the Children of Asia International Committee will determine the next country/region to host the 9th Children of Asia Games to be held in 2028.
