Children of Asia Games International Committee delegation took part in the events of the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam. Working meetings were held within the Games events.
President of the Children of Asia Games International Committee Mr. Vladimir Maksimov met with Secretary General of the Vietnamese Olympic Committee Mr. Tran Van Manh. Organizations’ heads discussed issues of cooperation for the development and promotion of children's sports in Asia.
Also, as part of the within the games events Vladimir Maksimov have met with the President of the Boxing Federation Indonesia – Mr. Komarudin Simanjuntak. While meeting was discussed boxing sport development in Asia. "Children of Asia" Games International Committee together with the International Boxing Association plans to launch as part of the educational program later this year. The parties discussed Indonesia's participation in this program. Mr. Simanjuntak was interested in this project and expressed his readiness to take part. He noted that this program will contribute to the development of sports in Indonesia and in whole Asia in general.
“Such cooperation will be a great support and a big step towards international cooperation. The International Committee pays great attention to the launch and development of educational programs that will contribute to the development of sports on the Asian continent and will enable young athletes to gain invaluable experience in participating in international competitions,” Mr. Vladimir Maksimov summed up.
