Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mr. Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the formation of an organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the Children of Asia International Sports Games in 2023. According to the documents, the organizing committee was headed by the Minister of Sports of Russia Mr. Oleg Matytsin and the Governor of Kuzbass Mr. Sergey Tsivilev.
Organizational and technical support for the activities of the organizing committee is entrusted to the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. Together with the government of Kuzbass and relevant federal executive authorities, the department should develop and submit for approval by the organizing committee an action plan for the Games.
Recall that the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games will be held in Kuzbass from February 23rd to March 5th, 2023. About a thousand young athletes from Asian countries and regions of Russia will take part in it. Competitions in 10 sports will be held in four territories: Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk and Tashtagolsky municipal district.
