President of the Children of Asia International Committee held a meeting with alumni of Children of Asia Games from the Kingdom of Thailand

During his working visit to Bangkok, Mr. Vladimir Maksimov met with Children of Asia Games alumni from the Kingdom of Thailand. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Niwat Limsuknirun, Director General of Department of Physical Education of Thailand, and Mr. Sherzod Asatullaev, Secretary General of the Children of Asia International Committee.  

Athletes from Thailand shared their impressions of participation in Children of Asia Games. They noted the scale of the competitions, talked about a significance that the Games have for them and that it is not only sports competitions, but also friendship. The friendship of athletes from different countries thatis maintained to this day. The athletes also expressed their full support in the work of the Games Alumni Union and their readiness to promote the Committee's mission that developes children and youth sports in the Asian continent. 

Also during the meeting, the winner of the 5th Games Ms. Pannapa Harnsudjin (Taekwondo) was awarded a Children of Asia Games champion badge. It should be reminded that in the beginning of 2023 the Board of the Committee approved a unified badge of the Games champion. The badge is made in the form of the logo of the Children of Asia International Committee framed by an olive branch as a symbol of peace and victory. 

Mr. Vladimir Maksimov thanked the alumni of the Games for continuing to support the Committee's projects and actively joining the work of the Alumni Union:
"The Kingdom of Thailand has been participating in the Children of Asia International Sports Games since the very beginning, namely since 1996. This shows a great interest of the leadership in development of children's sports in the country. For my part, I would like to point out that one of the main goals of the Games is you, the athletes, who are motivated to compete, lead a healthy and active lifestyle, support and are themselves part of projects that promote the values of Olympism, fair and clean competition, friendship and strength of spirit. We appreciate that our alumni continue to work together with us, for our part we will fully support new ideas, new projects that you want to realize for the development of sport in Thailand and throughout the Asian continent".

As a reminder, the Games Alumni Union was established this year by the Children of Asia International Committee. The main purpose of the Union is to unite the participants of the Games of different years in the name of the development of children's and youth sports.
