Holding the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games inKemerovo region is a bold initiative of the governor Mr. Sergei Tsivilev said Mr. Vladimir Maksimov said on the air of the Kuzbass FM radio station.

The President of Childre of Asia International Committee added that there was competition at the venue of the Games: The decision was made carefully, we discussed it for a long time, since the organization of events of this level requires a special approach. You need to understand that the competition is for children, many of the participants travel outside their country for the first time. Representatives of the region, defending the application, were able to convince the Committee that they would be able to properly host the Winter Children of Asia Games. Preparations have been underway for almost two years, despite various difficulties, the region has now fulfilled its obligations to prepare sports facilities.

Recall that the Children of Asia Games will start on February 25th in 4 cities of Kuzbass. 12 countries, as well as 8 teams from the regions of Russia will take part in competitions in 10 sports. More than 1000 athletes and coaches in total going to participate in the Games.
