At the discussion platforms, representatives of the participating countries of the Games discuss the prospects for the development of youth sports in the Asian continent, the role of the Games in strengthening international sports and humanitarian cooperation, adaptive physical education and educational programs for athletes.
- The countries participating in the Children of Asia Games place great emphasis on the development of children's and youth sports, said Mr. Vladimir MAKSIMOV at the opening of the plenary session. - Our project has long gone beyond competitions, we are actively implementing educational programs, including in the anti-doping direction. All this helps us to educate competitive athletes, for whom the Children of Asia Games open up big sport.
Welcoming the participants of official program, Mr. Rodion PLITUKHIN Secretary General of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), noted that the Children of Asia Games create a certain ecosystem for children.
- Sport is the Motherland. There are no unfriendly countries in sports for us. The mission of sport, the Olympic movement must not be lost. This is what the Children of Asia project is aimed at, said the Secretary General of the ROC in his speech.
- The agenda that is being discussed here is more relevant today than ever, - said Deputy Prime Minister of Kuzbass Mr. Sergey Alekseev, - I'm sure we can help each other in these areas. Above all, it is the legacy of multisport events in the form of infrastructure, parenting and experiences that reshape sports life.
The official program of Children of Asia International Committee is held for two days at the site of the Kemerovo State University. Participants review best practices and share experiences.
