President of the Children of Asia International Committee Mr. Vladimir Maksimov held a working meeting with the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of Indonesia Mr. Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo. The meeting took place in a video conference format.
The parties paid attention to international cooperation and discussed the cooperation ways between Committee and Ministry. The emphasis was on possible areas of joint work.
Besides this, two leaders discussed issues of preparation and participation of Team Indonesia in the upcoming 8th Children of Asia Games, as well as educational projects of the Committee aimed at increasing the level of physical activity, Olympic education and creating favorable conditions for adaptation during competitions of children and youth.
Mr. Vladimir Maksimov emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation to support and develop youth and sports, which will ultimately lead to strengthening friendly relations between Asian countries. In turn, the Indonesian side expressed its readiness to participate in the 8th Children of Asia Games and in the Committee’s projects.
Teams of Indonesia took part in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Children of Asia Games.
