As a part of the Eastern Economic Forum, a session “Sports and Youth: a healthy lifestyle and a path to success” was held, where the role of physical education and sports in the formation of a healthy lifestyle for young people, as well as how sports affects success in their career and personal life, were discussed.
President of the Children of Asia International Committee Mr. Vladimir Maksimov was one of the speakers, noting that the “Children of Asia” project is not only about sports. Children of Asia was initially a regional event, and now it is the largest sports competition in Asia for children and youth. The Children of Asia Games are not only about sports, but also about the infrastructure that is being prepared in small cities for the Games. The regions show their potential to attract athletes from different countries, thereby developing their territories. We also focus on children’s intercultural relationships, their interaction, friendship, and exchange of cultural characteristics. Since 2018, we have been organizing educational projects aimed at training athletes and learning children the anti-doping policy. We believe that children need to be explained and told at the initial stage of preparation what the consequences might be when doping. We also pay great attention to sports psychology, which is one of the important aspects of the life of any athlete,” noted Mr. Vladimir Maksimov.
Let us remind you that within the Eastern Economic Forum, the Children of Asia International Sports Games to be held in 2024 in Yakutsk, were presented in the Yakutia pavilion on the “Far East Street”.
