As part of a working visit to Beijing (PRC), the President of the Children of Asia International Committee Mr. Vladimir Maksimov met with the President of DanceSport Asia Mr. Crossen Yin Guochen. Cooperation in the field of children's sports and the development of dance sport in the Asian continent were discussed at the meeting.
Mr. Vladimir Maksimov reported that Ten Dance and breaking are included in the program of the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games. The meeting was also attended by the President of Dance Sports Union of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Mrs. Lyudmila Nikolaeva who actively participated in the inclusion of dance sport into the Sports Program of the upcoming Games.
“Taking into account the popularity of dance sport in Asia and its development in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), the Board of the International Committee supported the application of the Organizing Committee to include dance sport into the program of the 8th Children of Asia Games. After 16 years dance sport is returning to the Sports program of the Games,” noted Mr. Vladimir Maksimov.
