Children of Asia International Committee together with the Russian Olympic Committee, within the framework of the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games 2023 in Kuzbass, will conduct an educational program Climbing Olympus for young athletes. Climbing Olympus program is aimed at promoting the Olympic principles, introducing the history of the Children of Asia International Sports Games, promoting clean sports and strengthening friendly relations between athletes. Lectures, games and master classes will be attended by lecturers from the Children of Asia International Committee, the Russian Olympic Committee, the National Anti-Doping Organization RUSADA, the Association of Sports Psychologists of Russia. Also, young athletes will be able to ask questions and communicate with eminent athletes, graduates of the Games of previous years and with ambassadors of the 2nd Children of Asia in Kuzbass.
As Ms. Sardaana Zhendrinskaya, the Head of International Department of Children of Asia International Committee notes the implementation of the program will help strengthen international sports cooperation. Our program is aimed at acquainting the younger generation with the history of the Olympic movement and the principles of fair play. During the course of the program, the participants will develop and improve communication skills.
The Children of Asia International Committee is developing educational projects, the purpose of which is to improve the skills of athletes, coaches and judges, disseminate new knowledge in the field of sports management and exchange experience. One of such educational projects of the Committee is the Climbing Olympus program, which will be presented for young athletes of the 2nd Children of Asia Games.
Climbing Olympus program will be held at the Boiling Point Co-Working Center – Kuzbass State Agricultural Academy, Kemerovo and Boiling Point Co-Working Center – Novokuznetsk from February 23rd to March 3rd as part of the Games.
