Young athletes from Kazakhstan, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Siberian Federal District, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Ural Federal District took part in the program.
Young athletes got acquainted with the history of the Children of Asia Games, listened to an informative lecture from the Russian National Anti-Doping Organization RUSADA, and also took part in trainings from the Association of Sports Psychologists.
The young athletes were visited by the Ambassador of the 2 Winter Games Ms. Nadezhda Sergeeva, participant of three Olympic Games (2014, 2018, 2022), winner of the European Cup stage, winner of the Russian Championship, winner of the Russian Cup, Master of Sports of Russia of international class in athletics and bobsleigh:
- I myself came across a history of doping it was very unexpected. The situation was difficult, but I was able to prove that it was an unintentional use of the drug. My case proves that this can happen to any athlete, so it is very important that such a project exists now, shared her experience.
Educational events will be held from February 23 to March 3 at the Boiling Point Co - working centre in Kemerovo and at the Boiling Point Coworking Center in Novokuznetsk.
