The Children of Asia International Committee established the Children of Asia Games Alumni Union in 2023. Over the long history of the Games, more than 15,000 athletes have participated in the Games, many of whom have competed and won medals at International Starts and Olympic Games.
The collegial body of the Alumni Union is the Council, which consists of the Chairman, Secretary and 8 members of the Union. Lilia Akhaimova, champion of the IV Children of Asia Games, Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics, was elected as the Chairman of the Council. Alexander Bugaev, an alumnus of the First Children of Asia Games and First Deputy Minister of Sports of Yakutia, was also elected Secretary of the Council.
The Children of Asia Games Alumni Union will create new programs and projects for the development of children's sports in Asian countries, for the purpose of educational activities to promote the principles of the Olympic Movement and the history of the Games. The establishment of the Alumni Union also promotes the development of project and educational activities, the development of forms of improving sportsmanship, and the consideration of socially significant projects in the field of supporting children's sports.
All athletes who took part in the Games of different years, regardless of citizenship, gender and age, can participate in the work of the Children of Asia Games Alumni Union at will. To do this, it is necessary to send an application to info@cagic.org
