On November 8, 2012, within the 31st General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Macau, Children of Asia Games International Committee was founded by the initiative of the OCA President His Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah.
The protocol on the Committee’s establishment was signed by its founders: on behalf of the Olympic Council of Asia - by President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, the Russian Olympic Committee was represented by President Mr. Alexander Zhukov, and on behalf of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) there was the Vice-President of the Republic Mr. Dmitry Glushko.
Since its foundation the Committee has done a large work to promote Children of Asia International Sports Games with the support of the co-founders. As a result, Children of Asia Games have become a large-scale multisport project in the sphere of children and youth sports in the Asian continent. Much has been done for the last 8 years, but even more is ahead!
