Delegation of Children of Asia International Committee takes part in ANOC 27th General Assembly

Vladimir Maksimov, President of the Children of Asia International Committee, and Sherzod Asatullayev, Secretary General of the Committee, are taking part in the 27th General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) in Portugal these days.

Within the General Assembly, the delegation of the Children of Asia Committee holds bilateral meetings with the heads of the National Olympic Committees and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on development of children's sports, expansion of educational and training programs within the  Children of Asia Games.

Reference: The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) was established in 1979 during the founding General Assembly in Puerto Rico. Its purpose is to help the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to manage the general affairs of National committees, support them, give advice and recommendations on their development.

288 organizations of the Olympic Movement from all over the world, including 200 NOCs, delegates of the International Olympic Committee, International Federations and representatives of the organizing committees of the Olympic Games, participated in the 27th General Assembly of the ANOC this year.
