The International Anti-Doping Forum "Clean Sport Without Borders" has started in Minsk. The organizers of the Forum are National Anti-Doping Agency and the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Russian Anti-Doping Agency RUSADA and the Russian Olympic Committee.
The forum included a panel session "Anti-Doping Compass: A Navigator for Organizers of Major Competitions". The main goal of the panel session was to provide organizers of major sporting events with practical recommendations and tools for the effective implementation and compliance with anti-doping rules, discuss best practices and key aspects of managing anti-doping programs.
At the session, the Head of the International Department of the Children of Asia Committee, Ms. Sardaana Zhendrinskaia, presented the Climbing Olympus Educational Project:
"We are talking about the rules and the foundation for forming a culture of zero tolerance for doping. Like any habit, these rules and knowledge should be embedded in children's and youth sports. It is with this mission that the Children of Asia International Committee is implementing the Educational Program "Climbing Olympus", where the main modules are devoted to Olympic education, anti-doping and sports psychology. The program has attracted the interest of colleagues from the Department of Sports of Kyrgyzstan, Republic's College-Boarding School of Olympic Reserve of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, the Olympic Academy of Thailand, as well as the Regional Anti-Doping Organization for Central Asia."
Let us recall that the Children of Asia International Committee has been implementing the educational program "Climbing Olympus" for the second year. Over the two years of the educational program, more than 2,000 young athletes from 25 countries have participated.
