Vera Biryukova, a Children of Asia Games alumna and the Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics at Rio 2016, conducted a master class for young athletes from the Kingdom of Thailand. The master class took place as part of the 3rd International Summit of Young Professionals in Sports.

Thailand's 50 most talented gymnasts gathered to learn the secrets of success from the Olympic champion herself. Vera Biryukova generously shared her knowledge and experiences, igniting a passion within the participants to achieve even greater heights in the world of gymnastics.

Drawing from her own journey, Biryukova shared, "The Children of Asia Games in 2012 were among my first major and important competitions, and unfortunately, I didn't win any medals at that time. However, I share this story to emphasize the importance of not giving up in such moments but rather motivating yourself and training twice as hard. Because just four years after the Children of Asia Games, I managed to win the Olympic Games."

The master class participants expressed their immense gratitude for Biryukova's invaluable advice, which will help them move forward and achieve the highest accomplishments in their sports careers.

"I am thrilled with the master class and Vera's teachings. It was a very interesting experience for me," shared one enthusiastic participant. "Her words and advice have inspired me to strive even harder towards my goals."

The event was also attended by Sherzod Asatullaev, Secretary General of the Children of Asia International Committee, and Lieutenant Commander Sarayut Pattanasak, President of the Gymnastics Association of Thailand.
