In Moscow there was a meeting of the Children of Asia Games International Committee’s delegation – President Mr. Vladimir MAKSIMOV and Vice-President, Deputy of State Duma Mr. Marat BARIEV with the Minister of the Russian Federation for Development of the Far East and Arctic Mr. Alexei CHEKUNKOV and his Deputy Mr. Marat SHAMYUNOV.
The parties discussed issues of further development and promotion of Children of Asia Games, including the possibility of holding the 7th Summer Games in one of the regions of the Far East.
The Minister expressed his full support for Children of Asia Games and added that the Games except their primary tasks also play an important role in development of tourism and promotion of territories.
According to Mr. Alexei CHEKUNKOV, the Russian Ministry for Development of the Far East and Arctic is ready to comprehensively support the Children of Asia International Sports Games. Moreover, it was emphasized that the Games can be considered as one of the most successful Far Eastern projects that have entered the international arena.
