Today, April 27, is a special day in the history of Yakutia. In 1922 Yakutia was granted the status of an autonomous republic. 70 years later, in 1992, the Constitution of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) came into force.
Yakutia has a unique cultural tradition, a magical land of frost and incredible nature. Yakutia is the birthplace of Children of Asia International Sports Games. This year, the 8th Children of Asia Games will be held in Yakutsk from June 25 to July 7. It will become a real celebration of sports and friendship between children from different countries.
