The 3rd Summit of Young Professionals in Sports featured a workshop titled "Media and Communications in Sports."
At the workshop, young professionals had the opportunity to participate in a master class conducted by sports journalist and UWW member Ali Feizasa.
"Today, my aim was to provide valuable advice and practical recommendations on giving interviews, effectively responding to challenging questions, and standing out in the media space. It's important to be open with journalists, share insights about your work because the media plays a crucial role in promoting any field," commented Ali Feizasa.
Sergey Pak, founder of the "Ortus" Judo School in Kazakhstan, delivered a talk on "Personal Branding." Creating and promoting a personal brand can be a powerful tool to inspire and engage children in sports. He also emphasized that parents are the primary audience for children's sports.
"I understand that parents value the ability to grab their phone at any time and watch their child's activities online. It's convenient and comforting in today's world. The key is to approach your work with passion," shared Sergey Pak.
Timur Nishanbaev, Head of the Marketing Commission of the Sambo Union of Asia, discussed the mechanisms of popularizing children's sports from a marketing perspective.
"To successfully promote children's sports, it's essential to utilize marketing tools that can help capture the attention of parents, generate interest among children, and sustain their motivation throughout their sporting journey," explained Timur Nishanbaev.
The workshop was moderated by Mikhail Guberniev, Children of Asia International Committee Project Manager.
The 3rd International Summit of Young Professionals in Sports is currently taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.
