Vladimir Maximov, President of the Children of Asia International Committee, and Feras Al Azab, member of the Syrian Olympic Committee and member of the Directors of the General Sports Federation of Syria, had a business meeting during the 8th Children of Asia Games.
In the meeting the sides discussed the participation of the Syrian national team in the 8th Children of Asia Games and the prospects for the development of children's sports.
«It is very important for us to participate in these Games, it is an evidence of strong work being done. It is a huge incentive for children to see another country, other peers, to feel the spirit of the Children's Olympics. About 20 athletes are participating this year, at the next competitions, I am sure that the number of children will increase» - said Feras Al Azab.
