The President of the Children of Asia International Committee Vladimir Maksimov held a working meeting with the President of the Russian Weightlifting Federation Maksim Agapitov.
The parties discussed forms of implementation of joint events in the field of development of children's sports. Maksim Agapitov noted that the Federation has now launched projects that are appropriate for young weightlifters.
- We discussed key issues with the President of the Children of Asia Committee, Vladimir Maksimov, regarding the creation of conditions for weightlifting and the development of this sport among children. We are now looking for convenient forms of events for young athletes that can be implemented in collaboration with the Committee. Our goal is to attract as many children as possible. After all, in order to get a good result, it is necessary to develop skills from childhood. It is fact that representatives of the Asian continent have been the strongest in weightlifting in recent years.
