The 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games Directorate invites everyone older 14, groups of authors, professional designers, artists, everyone who knows the art of design, to take part in an open contest to design the mascot the upcoming Games schedule in 2024 in Yakutsk.
The mascot of the Games can be any existing or fictional, animate or inanimate character or animal. The mascot of the 8th Children of Asia Games should contribute to representation of the hosting region - Yakutia.
The contest will be held in three stages:
The first stage: Application from April 18 to May 12, 2023. During this time, participants can email the design of the mascot to childrenofasia-yakutsk2024@yandex.ru marked “Mascot contest”.
The second stage: Selection. At this stage, the jury team will select the 5 best works to be published in the official social network of Children of Asia International Sports Games VKontakte https://vk.com/gamesasia.
The third stage: Voting to be held among the selected works in the official social network of the Games VKontakte.
The results of the contest will be announced on June 1, 2023. The winner will be awarded a prize from the organizers of the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games Yakutsk2024. The winning mascot design will not only be applied to all souvenirs, but will also become the symbol of the upcoming Games.
