Press service of Sport Ministry of Khakassia prepared top-5 sports news of the outgoing year. CSKA-KHAKASSIA, champion of Children of Asia International Sports Games, was recognized as the Victory of Year.
- Our Republic has never achieved such prominent results in team sports before. On July 12 “CSKA-KHAKASSIA” won the 6th Children of Asia International Sports Games in volleyball. It’s believed that Children of Asia Games are Olympic Games for the younger generations. The competitions are held in Yakutia and they are attended by athletes in more than 20 sports. In volleyball there were 6 teams – 4 teams from Russia and teams from China and Mongolia. Siberian Federal District was represented by "CSKA-KHAKASSIA". Each played match had principal importance for our team and they brought no defeat, - Sport Ministry press service said.
