Vladimir Maksimov, President of the Children of Asia International Committee, had a meeting with participants of the Children of Asia Games of different years. The alumni responded with great enthusiasm to the call to come to Yakutsk for the Games. Thus, within the framework of the Games, famous athletes will hold master classes for Yakut youth and will be involved in other events.

"In 2023, the Committee established the Alumni Union, an organization aimed at uniting all athletes who took part in the Games. The organization has shown itself to be a good moving force, bringing together athletes from different countries and regions of Russia to develop children's sports. Meetings with young athletes and various master classes are held. Guys share with children the experience they themselves lacked at the beginning of their journey," President of the International Committee said.

According to Vladimir Maksimov, a lot of work will be done within the framework of the Alumni Union.
"We will have meetings with the participants of the Games as part of the forum of young Olympians, there will also be a presentation of the Rules of Future Champions and holding master classes in several sports for young residents of Yakutsk," said the Committee.

Geography of the alumni of the Games is very wide. Both foreign and Russian athletes came to Yakutsk ranging from Khabarovsk to India.

"The winners of world championships and Olympic medalists come to us, and this is very pleasing," said Vladimir Maksimov.
Tuyana Dashidorzhieva, the 2012 Children of Asia Games champion, silver medalist of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, 2015 World Champion, silver medalist of the 2016 European Championship, two-time bronze medalist of the Universiade, Honored Master of Sports of Russia in archery, noted that it is a great honor for her to be a part of these Games.

"I remember as a child coming to Yakutsk for the 5th Children of Asia Games and that left a huge impression on me. It was very large-scale and grand. And now the level has not decreased, on the contrary, it has increased. I flew in just this morning and from the very moment of my arrival I am overwhelmed with the sublime feeling of being here again. Within the framework of my arrival we plan to hold various master classes, I will participate as a speaker. In general, the program is very rich. I will be very happy if I will be useful for our young athletes and make a certain contribution to their future careers," said Tuyana Dashidorzhieva.

In turn, the 4th Children of Asia Games champion, two-time 2015 European Athletics Champion Daniil Tsyplakov shared that he perfectly remembers the emotions he felt while participating in the Games.

"I was at the stadium yesterday and I couldn't believe that 16 years ago I was competing here. I remember the Opening Ceremony, the competitions. Unfortunately, we didn't see much of the city that time, as we were mostly in the Athletes Village and sports facilities, so this time I will be exploring Yakutsk anew. I am very happy to come here again," said Daniil Tsyplakov.

Recall that the 8th Children of Asia Games will be held in Yakutsk from June 25 to July 7, 2024. Athletes from 24 foreign countries and five teams from Russia will take part in the Games.
