In Astana, within the framework of the Days of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the President of the Children of Asia International Committee, Vladimir Maximov visited the palace of martial arts named after Zh. Ushkempirov and met with the leadership of the Qazaq kuresi Association.
During the meeting, the General Director of the Association Damir Bekbosynov spoke about Kazakh wrestling, which is the precious heritage of our ancestors. The work done to develop wrestling and increase its popularity in the international arena was presented.
The parties discussed ways to include Kazakh wrestling, which has a deep history, in the Children of Asia Games program. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to create a “Road Map”, which will display the main stages of joint work.
