In Kemerovo, within an inspection visit of the Committee's representatives and the Russian Muay Thai Championship, a meeting was held between President of the Children of Asia Games International Committee Mr. Vladimir Maksimov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation H. E. Mr. Sasiwat Wongsinsawat.
“In my country, Muay Thai is not only a fight or battle, but also a special philosophy. It is pleasant that this sport is becoming more and more popular in Russia, ”Mr. Sasiwat Wongsinsawat emphasized.
Mr. Vladimir Maksimov introduced the history of Children of Asia International Sports Games. He noted that the main goal of the Games is to promote Olympic ideas, develop youth sports and strengthen international sports cooperation.
The parties discussed issues of sports cooperation, including participation of athletes in training events of Children of Asia International Sports Games.
