On April 18-19 in Astana (Kazakhstan), Children of Asia International Committee will be conducting the Climbing Olympus Educational Program. The event will be held for students of the Kazakhstan Republic’s Specialized Boarding School-College of the Olympic Reserve and Ortus Judo School.
Over the course of two days, lecturers from the Children of Asia International Committee, Regional Anti-Doping Organization of Central Asia (RADOCA) and Association of Sports Psychologists will conduct training, lectures and master classes. Participants will gain knowledge about the values of sport, become familiar with anti-doping rules and learn to overcome difficulties through psychotechnical games to improve personal effectiveness.
Children of Asia International Committee pays great attention to the education of young athletes and their comprehensive development. As a part of this activity, we organize various projects, one of which is the Climbing Olympus Educational Program. Aspects such as knowledge about the Olympic movement, the true values of sport, psychological preparation, a culture of zero tolerance for doping - all these are components of Olympic education, which is necessary for the younger generation of athletes,” commented Ms. Sardaana Zhendrinskaya, Head of International Relations Department of the Children of Asia Committee, Coordinator of Climbing Olympus Program.
Let us remind you that the Children of Asia International Committee is developing educational projects, the purpose of which is to improve the skills of athletes, coaches and referees, disseminate new knowledge in the field of sports management and exchange experience. One such educational project of the Committee is the Climbing Olympus program, which has previously taken place in Bishkek, Kuzbass, Vladivostok, Bangkok and Yakutsk.
