7th Children of Asia Games took place from July 27 to August 8, 2022 in Vladivostok.  The competitions were attended by 12 foreign teams: Armenia, Afghanistan, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mongolia, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and 8 teams representing Russian federal districts and regions.

Within the Games, 199 sets of medals were awarded in 19 sports: badminton, basketball, boxing, kurash wrestling, khapsagai wrestling, judo, track and field athletics, mas-wrestling, mini-football, table tennis, swimming, beach volleyball, shooting, sambo, wrestling, archery, dance sport, taekwondo, rhythmic gymnastics.

We have collected a few interesting facts about the 7th Children of Asia Games:

- President of the Children of Asia  International Committee  Vladimir Maksimov presented the 7th Children of Asia Games during the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia in Dubai in 2021.

- The Amur tiger and the Far Eastern leopard became the mascots of the 7th Games. The leopard was named Ussuri by the name of the largest river in Primorsky Krai which also flows in Khabarovsk Krai and the Chinese province of Heilongjiang. The tiger was named CAF by an abbreviation that combines the first letters of the Olympic motto “Citius! Altius! Fortius!” - Faster! Higher! Stronger!

- The official logo of the 7th Children of Asia Games includes a lotus - a symbol of Asia, a running child's silhouette, the bright sun, mountains and hills of Vladivostok, the waters of Peter the Great Bay.

- During the opening ceremony, the flame of the 7th Children of Asia Games was lit by the Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Tokyo - 2020 Liliya Akhaimova.

- The flag bearers were the decorated alumni of the Children of Asia Games of different years: Vera Biryukova - Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Rio-2016, Anton Chupkov - bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games in swimming, Georgiy Balakshin - bronze medalist of the 2008 Olympic Games in boxing, Daria Dmitrieva - silver medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games in rhythmic gymnastics, Leonid Spiridonov - Asian champion in freestyle wrestling and Minister of Sports of Yakutia, Sofia Nadyrshina - silver medalist of the World Championship in snowboarding.

- The Athletes' Village was organized on the basis of the All-Russian Children's Center "Ocean". 1,000 volunteers and 591 highly qualified referees served the Games.
