The President of the Children of Asia International Committee, Vladimir Maksimov, met with the Head of Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aibek Abdymomunov, in Bishkek. During the meeting, the parties discussed the outcomes of the 8th Children of Asia Games, which had become a significant milestone in the development of children’s sports and helped strengthen friendly relations among participating countries.

Vladimir Maksimov highlighted the notable achievements of Kyrgyzstan's young athletes and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to enhance the development of children’s sports and improve the training of future champions.

Aibek Abdymomunov underscored that many of the young athletes who participated in the 8th Children of Asia Games have gone on to achieve success in other international competitions. This, he noted, demonstrates both the talent and strong preparation of the athletes, as well as the role of the Children of Asia Games as a launchpad for their careers.

"At the 8th Children of Asia Games, athletes from Kyrgyzstan had a unique opportunity to compete with their peers from various Asian countries and have since continued to excel at other international events. The success of our young athletes on the global stage reaffirms the significance of the Children of Asia Games in nurturing the country’s sports reserve. We are pleased that our cooperation with the Children of Asia International Committee is yielding excellent results and contributing to the advancement of youth sports in Kyrgyzstan," said Abdymomunov.

The meeting also focused on the projects spearheaded by the Children of Asia International Committee. It is worth noting that a memorandum of cooperation was previously signed with the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic. This agreement aims to strengthen and expand collaboration in sports and education for children and youth.

Under the framework of this agreement, various educational projects and initiatives will be implemented to develop sports skills among young people and promote healthy lifestyles across the Asian continent.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their confidence in continuing their joint efforts to implement new projects that will inspire the younger generation to engage in sports and achieve great results.
